We are The Film Space Ltd, a company registered in England. We produce educational resources, that are provided free of charge to educators across the UK, for use in the classroom and lectures through our websites www.thefilmspace.org and www.filmeducation.org. We also organise continuing professional development activities for which a fee may be charged.

In order to ensure the most secure systems for the handling of personal information and communications we use international companies to store and process our data, all of whom are compliant with the requirements of UK data privacy law. these include:

  • MailChimp as our data processor in respect to the processing, storage and analysis of our subscriber information.
  • Google as the data processor of analytics on the use of our websites.
  • Vimeo as the data processor of usage analytics of our video content incorporated into some of our education resources.
  • Eventbrite as our data processor for bookings and analysis of such.

Controlling your personal information

Subscribing

We will not distribute newsletters and updates of our activities to unless you or your organisation has provided us with details to do so and/or you have indicated that you wish to receive such.

How you can access and update your information

The accuracy of your information is important to us. We are constantly working on ways to update our data and make it easier for you to review and correct the information that we hold about you.
